And the best way to enjoy them is not only to take a walk and admire nature, as there are many activities and events on them all the year. In London\u2019s park you can find lakes, museums, zoos, palaces, ice rinks and open air theatres, so you can spend the day there without even noticing!<br><br>\n<h2>LONDON PARKS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM<\/h2>\nMost of the popular London Parks are located around Soho and Westminster, like the famous Hayde Park, Green Park and St. James\u2019s Park. But these are not the only ones.\n\nIf you want to visit some of them, you can even make day circuits like, for example Green Park-Hyde Park, Holland Park and St. James\u2019s Park, really close from one to the other. Around 20-25 minutes walking from Hyde Park you can also find the Regent\u2019s Park as well.\n\nThere are other popular parks in London, but there are not that close. Anyway, you can take public transportation to get there. South of River Thames, for example, you fill find Battersea Park, Clapham Common and Greenwich Park.\n\nIf you\u2019re in Regent\u2019s Park you can take a 45 minutes\u2019 walk or public transportation to get to Hampstead Heath and if you\u2019re near Stratford you can visit Victoria Park.<br><br>\n<h2>LONDON\u2019S PARKS\u2019S ACTIVITES<\/h2>\nYou can do many things in a London\u2019s parks. In Regent\u2019s Park, for example, you can hire a regular or a pedal boat, or visit the ZSL London Zoo or the Primrose Hill.\n\nIn Holland Park you can play tennis, practice golf or cricket or watch a play at the open-air theatre in summer season. This park has a giant, funny outdoor chess set, a zip wire, a carrousel, a tire swing and a special area for young children.\n\nThe most visited park in London is, undoubtedly, Hyde Park and it has a lot of activities and amusement options, from historic monuments (Kensington Palace, Marble Arch, Speaker\u2019s Corner and many others) to The Serpentine, a massive lake where you can take a boat as well and feed ducks and swans. There, you can also walk the 7 miles long path called Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Walk or even play a football game at The Hub, a nice sport facility in the park. But the greatest moment of the park is winter, when it becomes Winter Wonderland, with a skating rink, ice bar, roller coasters and so much more.<br><br>\n<h2>WHEN TO VISIT LONDON\u2019S PARKS<\/h2>\nThere are some parks that are more visited in a specific moment of the year, according to the season. As we mentioned above, Hyde Park is a perfect place to visit in winter, because of Winter Wonderland and in summer, for example, many parks offer deckchairs so you can sit and read a book or just lay down in the grass and relax and refresh under a tree. Spring is a perfect time to walk into nature, because of the flowers, the trees and the picturesque garden coming to bloom. A similar charm can be enjoyed in autumn, but this season with all those trees turning into red and gold.\n\nLondon\u2019s parks have different schedules, also depending on the month of the year. In summer, some parks stay open until 21:00, which is late for a park in UK. In winter, for example, is common that parks close at 16:30. Anyway, you can find other parks, like Holland Park, open almost all day all year, and similar is Hyde Park.\u00a0 If its winter we recommend you again to visit Winter Wonderland (opens at the end of November to the beginnings of January, from 10:00 to 22:00).\n\nHowever, it doesn\u2019t really matter the time of the year.
